You will never buy hummus again. Honestly! This recipe is that good. You may not want to have it on date night due to its garlicy goodness but the extra bit of garlic makes its soooo delicious.
Ingredients 1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed 1/4C tahini 60mls of lemon juice 125mls extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp sea salt Black pepper to taste 3-4 good sized garlic cloves
Instructions 1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till smoothish. Yip that easy :-)
Tip 1: Top with your favourite toppings. Closer to Christmas I love pistachio and pomegranate. At this time of year I like lightly toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Always drizzle the top with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil.
Tip 2: Can be stored in the freezer for at least three months.
Tip 3: Eat with with chopped carrots, capsicums or seed crackers.
