Homemade Mayonnaise

This is one recipe I think everyone should make. It takes less than two minutes! Store bought mayonnaise contains refined oils (such as vegetable and canola oil) that cause inflammation in the body. Making your own with olive oil taste delicious and is actually anti-inflammatory. This recipe I also add apple cider vinegar to help with digestion. Here you go...

Ingredients 1 egg 250mls olive oil (not extra virgin- too strong) 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar Salt and pepper to taste 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard


Directions 1. Place egg in wide neck jar 2. Place olive oil on top, followed by remaining ingredients 3. Place stick blender in jar all way to bottom. Turn on and blend for 20 seconds in same spot. Then slowly move blender to ensure all ingredients are combined.


How easy is that. Mixed into homemade dressings, used on its own or as a dip for veggie sticks is delicious.
